POST SECRET

2009

Mute Comp. Physical Theatre has always had a good sense of transforming life's seriousness to entertaining stunts.

BERLINGSKE TIDENDE, 31.18.09

Mute Comp is among the very few within Danish dance theatre who is cabable of doing something so physically challenging.

JYLLANDSPOSTEN, 31.08.09.

It is overwhelmingly beautiful when Kasper Ravnhøj spins in a dance, which is like one long fall though he steadily pick himself up – obviously without using any strength and as there were no gravity and no heavy past.

The solo grasps the whole performance in its essence.

THE STRANGENESS OF
HUMAN BEHAVIOUR

What if we have only this life – right now – right here!
What if we commit a sin – an irreparable mistake that lead to an endless fall? What happens to a human being, when oppressed with guilt, it has nothing in life but regret? And what does it take to get back on one’s feet?

POST SECRET is another curious and extraordinary performance by Mute Comp telling the story about the strangeness of human behaviour and the shady sides of our being. The performance presents some of the most outstanding and extraordinary dancers and performers.

Outstanding and extraordinary dancers and performers.

From the Russian republic of Tuva, Mute Comp. has engaged one of the most accomplished female musicians and throat singers: Choduraa Tumat. Tumat is the artistic director of the female ensemble ”Tyva Kyzy”/ DAUGTHERS OF TUVA. The ensemble is the first and only ensemble from the republic of Tuva which performs abroad presenting Tuvinian throat- and overtone songs.
